SINGULARITY OF TRUTH: IS THERE A UNIVERSAL TRUTH OR PLURALITY?
I believe the world is evolving and the ways of man have also evolved with it; prior to the discovery of Gender as a concept, resolve was found, well truth was found, in the male "egocentric- as feminists would acclaim- thinking." The differences realized in societies became the basis for the transcendence and transgression that took over in the 1890s and 1990s; female issues became contended and inclusion tactics were used to ensure women were at the forefront of development: the Personal became Political. There were failures and successes, but what made the news was women's ability to clash with males in the supposed "male preserves;" running machines, driving tractors, and at the same time procreating and feeding families--Women were a force to be reckoned with.
Who then said there is one truth? Who then proclaims that when they see a woman they see a mother and a wife and no other description is added? Who then is speaking the truth; the simpletons that regard women as a singular being- only to find meaning and essence in womanhood, that is motherhood and wife hood, or as a boss, entrepreneur,engineer, lawyer, industrialist, banker, farmer, marketeer?
